Christian Collin's gallery

After successfully completing his apprenticeship (lasted for 12 years) in an important and picturesque parisian gallery in 1995, Christian Collin joined a bookseller friend in 1996 and gain expertise and experience through significant participation in numerous annual art exibitions of prints and antique dealers both in France and abroad. He opened his first Gallery in 2001, rue Jean Ferrandi Paris VI. Since 2005, he has had his own business and set up in rue Rameau in the second district of Paris, but still continues to exhibit in some international print fairs like The Grand Palais in Paris.

For his clients, amateurs or professionnals, occasional buyers or demanding collectors, Christian Collin attaches great importance in picking out all that catches the eye, intrigues, possessing an aesthetic quality or an historical importance. He takes pleasure in developing an unusual eclectic taste, coulped with curiosity.

Since January 2021, he is collaborating with Salomé Méchin. She has a master's degree in art market from IESA and a master's degree in art history from EPHE, and is the author of the documentary Pastel shown at the Salon d'Automne 2018. She is also co-curator with Joëlle Raineau of the Petit Palais virtual exhibition Alexandre Nozal, l'artiste voyageur. 

Since 2018, Christian Collin is the President of the Chambre Syndicale de l'Estampe, du Dessin et du Tableau, the CSEDT.
