Back in France in the 1920s, he exhibited in the Salons (Nancy, Paris ...) his landscapes of Lorraine, his views of Paris, the south of France (Villefranche-sur-mer, Saint-Tropez) as well as memories of the Far East.

In 1922, he received the grand prize for the colonial exhibition in Marseille.

He died in 1952.
