Woodcut in colours (nishiki-e) 

A nice impression on Japan paper, signed lower left. Considered the best student of Yōshū Chikanobu (1838-1912), Nobukazu worked in a variety of genres. He is perhaps best known for his war prints and bijin ga (pictures of beautiful women). 

Sheet: ôban (370 x 255 mm.)

Conditions: a nice impression with bright colours, margins on three sides.
