Fine and rare impression on wove paper, of an intermediate state between the second and the third state (on 9), without the monogramm and the number 25, signed and annotated Etat. epreuve à changée in pencil, short margins. Red stamp of the artist (Lugt 977).
Bourcard write that there are some rare artist impressions of this state.
An another annotation in pencil under the platemark probably from an another hand A LA PLACE BREDA. souvenir des dernières neiges. hiver de 1879-80.
